About the game:

Pit is a card game based of the stock market. Each players starts with a hand of random items cards (cattle, coffee, gold, oil, corn, etc.) and you try to trade with other players in order to get all the cards of one item in your hand. There is lots of shouting and trading. You can trade one card, two of the same, three of the same, and so on at a time. The first person with a hand full of the same card hits the buzzer in the center and wins that round. Each item card has a number associated with it and the winner of that round gets to add their points to their overall score. You could play a certain number of rounds or play until someone hits a certain total.

Replay Value:

High, once you have played a round you will be hooked. Unless you are super introverted and really shy.

My Thoughts:

This one is one of my family’s favorites! It can easily be played with a group that knows each other well, or a group that just met. It is fast and it is one of those games you can just keep playing rounds until you have had enough.
